Have you heard the saying, "Not a hope in hell". Its true. If you go there, it won't be for the weekend; there will be NO HOPE of escape! Ever!!! Consider the many ways the Bible speaks about the eternity of hell.
". . . Depart from me, ye cursed, into EVERLASTING fire, . . ." The words of Jesus in Matthew 25:41.
"The smoke of their TORMENT ascendeth up for EVER AND EVER: and they have NO REST DAY NOR NIGHT." From words spoken by Jesus in a vision of end time events in Revelation 14:11.
Consider other examples of how the Bible warns that HELL is ETERNAL!
everlasting fire - Matthew18:8, 25:41 everlasting punishment - Matthew 25:46 everlasting chains - Jude 1:6 everlasting destruction - 2 Thessalonians 1:9 eternal damnation - Mark 3:29 eternal judgment - Hebrews 6:2 eternal fire - Jude 1:7 unquenchable fire - Matthew 3:12 the fire that never shall be quenched - Mark 9:43, 44, 45, 46, 48 fire unquenchable - Luke 3:17 shame and everlasting contempt - Daniel 12:2 mist of darkness is reserved for ever - 2 Peter 2:17 the blackness of darkness for ever - Jude 1:13
Please think about this. If God was a spiteful God and wanted you to go there, why would he put so many warnings in the Bible to tell you to avoid hell at all costs? And why would he go to all costs to keep you out?
. In the whole of the Bible, there is not one verse that offers hope for anyone who enters hell.
The rich man in Luke 16 never even asked to get out - only that his family might be warned not to come there. He knew there was not way out.
HELL IS FOREVER AND EVER!
Your life will end in a heart beat. The next one could be your last.
What could possibly be worth eternity in hell?
No wonder Jesus warned people so much about hell! No wonder Jesus said in Mark 8:36...
For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and LOSE HIS OWN SOUL?
In light of these words from Jesus, you have to ask yourself:
What can be more important then, than my eternal salvation?
Please, take these warnings seriously.
May the Lord Jesus open your eyes to see that YOUR SOUL is in danger of ETERNAL Hell. Your sin offends God and you hang by a spiders thread over the flames of eternal damnation. If you have not done so, do the GOOD PERSON TEST now and consider how God sees your sin. Click HERE to do the test.
“If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our dead bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms wrapped about their knees, imploring them to stay. If Hell must be filled, let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go unwarned and unprayed for.” - Spurgeon
